Getting it All Wrong

The plaintiff says he hired the defendant to create campaign materials for him when he ran for city council, but they ended up being full of mistakes. He’s suing for a refund. The defendant says he owns a printing business and the plaintiff signed off on all the jobs but told him to stop because he was running out of money. He’s countersuing for the money he’s owed.  Then, the plaintiff says he rented an apartment to the defendants, but they left it filthy and trashed. He’s suing for the cost of cleaning it up. The defendants say they got bedbugs from another tenant and their cat died from licking toxic water that leaked into their home.
