Grifting Off Grandma

The plaintiff says she loaned her granddaughter some money to buy furniture, but now her own granddaughter is stiffing her. She’s suing for the amount owed. The defendant claims she paid her grandmother, who had several thousand dollars of other charges on the account and is trying to scam her.  Then, the plaintiff says he bought tires from the defendant, but they turned out to be rotted. He claims he’s lucky they didn’t cause an accident, so he’s suing for a refund.
