Leaving a Friend in Stitches

The plaintiff says the defendant is a former friend who stole her sewing machine. She’s suing for the value of the item. The defendant says she borrowed the machine a few times but denies stealing it.  Then, the plaintiff says he was walking his dogs and the defendant’s large dog bolted out the open front door and attacked, biting his hand. He’s had to miss work, so he’s suing for what he’s out.
