Letting a Lady Friend Down

The plaintiff says she and the defendant dated and bought a house together, but they broke up. Now she’s out of the home and he won’t repay her for the deposit she put down initially, so she’s suing. The defendant says he already paid the defendant back and covered all the expenses on the house, so he owes nothing Then, the plaintiff says he was driving down the highway when a huge chunk of ice flew off the defendant’s truck and splintered his windshield. The defendant refuses to pay for the damage, so he’s suing him. The defendant says his truck wasn’t in the area on the day of the incident and denies it was him.  Plus, the plaintiff says she rented an apartment to the defendant’s blind nephew, but she was never paid. She’s suing for the rent. The defendant says she doesn’t understand why she’s being sued because it has nothing to do with her.
