Letting a Mom Down

The plaintiff says the defendant is her son and he owes her money for a U-Haul she rented for him. Family or not, he owes, so she’s suing. The defendant says his mother agreed to help him out, and he claims he was never supposed to pay her back. Then, the plaintiff says she was asleep one night when police woke her to let her know her parked car was involved in a hit-and-run, and she’s suing the defendant for the damages incurred.
