Losing it on His Sister

The plaintiff says the defendant is her older brother. She claims he grabbed an iPhone from her, threw it against a wall, and smashed it. She’s suing for the cost of a new phone and emotional distress. The defendant says the plaintiff was threatening to call the police on him, so he alleges the incident was her fault.  The plaintiff says the defendant stole two family heirloom cast iron pots from her and won’t return them. She doesn’t know what he’s trying to pull, so she’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff gave him the rusty old pots and he restored them to add to his collection.
