Missing the Likeness

The plaintiff says she hired the defendant — who is known as “The Airbrush Goddess” in Cleveland — to airbrush an image of her grandmother onto a denim duster. The result was terrible and rushed, and she wants her money back. The defendant says she’s been airbrushing for 10 years. She’s countersuing for missed work. Then, the plaintiff says he was an exemplary tenant for seven years, but the defendant kept his security deposit claiming he needed to paint. He’s suing for his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff broke the lease and the carpet was ripped up to run illegal cable.
