Not Being a Model Client

The plaintiff says she owns a marketing company in Ohio and created a website and social media for the defendant’s bikini modeling business. She completed all the work, but the defendant won’t pay, so she’s suing. The defendant says he met the plaintiff at a bar when she was running for Congress. He denies owing her money and is countersuing for lost wages.  Then, the plaintiff says she rented an apartment from the defendant, but no one was there to give her the key on move-in day. She texted the defendant, who told her the apartment was no longer available. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff called her and told her she didn’t have the money for rent.
