Selling Bad Grass

The plaintiff bought sea moss from the defendant because it has numerous health benefits and vitamins in it. She claims the sea moss she purchased was dried, old, and unusable, so she’s suing for a refund. The defendant argues the sea moss is supposed to be dry. He says he won’t refund her because the plaintiff refuses to send the product back.  Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to refile a liquor license application, but he submitted the same one she had done previously and she got denied again. She’s suing for her money back. The defendant says the plaintiff was rejected because she withheld information about her criminal record. He says he did the work and won’t refund his fees.  Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant is her double-crossing ex-boyfriend, who won’t pay back the money he owes her. She’s suing to get it.
