Stiffed by a Sibling

The plaintiff says the defendant is his younger brother. He claims he loaned him money when he fell on hard times, but he got stiffed. He’s suing his sibling to get paid back. The defendant says he makes plenty of money and denies ever taking a loan from his brother. He’s countersuing for lost wages.  Then, the plaintiff claims he went to work for a family friend at his air-conditioning company, but the guy is refusing to pay him, so he’s suing the defendant for past wages and late fees. The defendant says he tried to help the man out, but claims the plaintiff was a problem from the start.  Plus, when the plaintiff brought her truck to the defendant to repair, she says he sat on the job for a year. She claims he thinks she’s a little old lady he can scam, but she’s suing for money he owes her. The defendant says he loaned the plaintiff a car for a year while he looked for a new engine, but she cursed him out constantly. He says he owes nothing.
