Taking it Out on a Car

The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex-girlfriend. She alleges her ex scratched vile words into the paint on her car, and she refuses to cover the repair costs, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says the plaintiff cheated and admits she keyed her car. She also alleges the plaintiff owes her money and so they’re even financially.

Then, the plaintiff says he bought an iPhone XR from the defendant on Facebook, but then the guy pulled a switcheroo and sold him a different phone. He’s suing for his money back. The defendant says he shipped the iPhone XR as promised and has no idea why the plaintiff is scamming him by saying he got a Nokia.

Plus, the plaintiff says he paid for a TV set, but his ex-girlfriend — the defendant — is holding it hostage. He says he has no choice but to sue for its value. The defendant says the plaintiff bought the TV as a gift for her and their son, so she has no intention of giving it back.
