Tenant Tantrum

The plaintiff says she rented a room from the defendant, a track and field Olympian. She thought the woman was trustworthy, but she kicked the plaintiff out and refused to return the security deposit. The plaintiff is suing for her money back. The defendant says the plaintiff was the tenant from hell who defamed her on social media. She’s countersuing for defamation and libel.  Then, the plaintiff says the defendant hired him to do some construction on his house, and now he’s stiffing him on payment. He’s suing for every penny he’s owed. The defendant says he agreed to pay only when the job was completed.
