Tinder Date Dashed with the Cash

The plaintiff says she met the defendant on Tinder and left him alone in her house three weeks after meeting him. She claims he was gone when she got home, along with $2,700 of her cash. The police retrieved $1,300, but she’s suing for the balance. The defendant claims the plaintiff gave him the money to help pay his child support and then changed her mind.  Then, the plaintiff says she bought a used car from the defendant, who wouldn’t let her test drive it. She claims it failed inspection and she had to spend lots of money on it, so she’s suing for reimbursement. The defendant claims the car had no mechanical issues and says he’s under no obligation to return her money.
