First, the plaintiff says he rented a furnished barbershop from the defendant for years, but the man kicked him out when he found out he was looking at other places. He’s suing for the security deposit and the cost of the three barber chairs he bought. The defendant says the plaintiff left a mess and the walls needed painting. He’s suing for additional repairs. Then, the plaintiff says he bought a treadmill from the defendant and paid in cash, but then the man refused to let him in the house to pick it up. He refuses to be robbed, so he’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says he let the man in his home numerous times to take apart the treadmill for removal, but he never took it.
