Trying to Impersonate a Former Friend

The plaintiff says the defendant, his former friend, stole his designer sunglasses and copied his overall style, so he’s suing for the cost of the glasses. The defendant says he doesn’t have the plaintiff’s sunglasses, and he doesn’t want to look anything like the plaintiff. Then, the plaintiff says he hired the defendant to install a new fuel tank in his truck, and the defendant ruined his vehicle. The plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant insists he did the installation properly, and he owes nothing. Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant is her former neighbor, and his dog bit her poodle, killing her. The defendant refuses to pay the plaintiff’s vet bills, so she is suing. The defendant argues that the plaintiff called his dog over and incited the fight.
