What a Tool

The plaintiff says the defendant is holding some of her valuable tools hostage and won’t give them back, so she’s suing. The defendant claims he and the plaintiff have been friends for over 20 years, but the plaintiff owes him money for some handyman work he performed. Until she pays him, the defendant says he’ll keep the tools. The defendant is countersuing for unpaid wages and pain and suffering.  Then, the plaintiff hired the defendant to provide a bouncy castle for her 7-year-old child’s birthday party. The defendant reportedly failed to get the necessary permits, and the birthday party was ruined, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund.
