You're Trucking Things Up

The plaintiff says she dated the defendant for a month and he led her on about their future. She claims he’s a sweetheart swindler who borrowed money and now won’t pay it back, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff came with him for part of a long-haul trucking trip and left halfway through. He denies borrowing any money.  Then, the plaintiff says he hired the defendant, a gun maker, to build him an AR-15 rifle, but he never completed the order. The plaintiff is suing for his money back. The defendant says he began working on the weapon, but when he checked out the plaintiff, it turns out he was only 19, so making a gun for him would be illegal.
