Zero Renovations

The plaintiffs say they hired the defendant’s moving company, but they could smell marijuana coming from the truck on moving day. They claim the movers broke their custom mirrored bed, so they’re suing for repair costs. The defendant says his guys did break a mirror and he took full responsibility, but he claims the plaintiffs are asking way too much for repairs.  Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to do some bathroom renovations, but he kept making excuses about licenses and didn’t complete the work. She’s suing to get her deposit balance back. The defendant claims the plaintiff is to blame because she never got the correct renovation approvals from her landlord.
