Pete Thompson

On today’s podcast I speak with photographer Pete Thompson. Pete just released a new book titled “93 Til” a photographic journey through skateboarding in the 1990’s. Pete has documented some of the most legendary skateboarders such as Tony Hawk, Neil Blender, Tom Penny, Danny Way, and Arto Sarri to name a few. He spent much of the nineties and early 2000’s working as a staff photographer for skateboard magazines such as SLAP and Transworld Skateboarding. In this interview I speak to Pete about how he got into photography , his experience traveling the world photographing the best skateboarders in the world, and I also speak to Pete about his process publishing his new book.
