This episode's guest is the great bluegrass banjoist, author, and educator Murphy Henry! Murphy made a name for herself with her energetic banjo playing and singing, and has broadened her reach in recent years to writing (including her 2013 book "Pretty Good For a Girl" about the history of women in bluegrass) and of course teaching: she founded The Murphy Method, which has taught untold scores of banjo players worldwide, along with a steady stream of private students.
