'Do They Know It's Christmas?' by Band Aid from 1984. Will there be snow in Africa? Yes, actually.

Direct from PG Towers, join Lee and Dave for a lighthearted look at the world of TV,  Film and Popular Culture from yesteryear that has since been considered problematic. This week, we cast our gaze on the classic festive song 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' from 1984. This is what The Problematic Gaze was created for. We dissect the lyrics of this song and analyse why they have since been regarded controversial. We also watch the video for the song, a fascinating snapshot of the 'mostly male' 80's music landscape.

Also, Lee is about to have a 'lights, camera, action' moment. A Dave offers his rules for attending the office Christmas party!
