We continue our month of discussions around the 1970s interpretations of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes. On this episode we’re discussing 1975’s The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ Smarter Brother. Written and directed by, and starring Gene Wilder, the film tells the tale of Sigerson Holmes. The movie also stars some other familiar faces from Mel Brooks’s troupe of actors including Marty Feldman, Madeline Khan, and Dom DeLuise.
