Distance Reiki works across time and space. The Reiki energy will reach you whenever you watch this video.

For this session, you may want to have a surrogate (such as a pillow or a stuffed animal), but it is not required.

William Lee Rand, is founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), The Center for Reiki Research and The Reiki Membership Association. He is also the publisher and editor in chief of the Reiki News Magazine. He has authored Reiki, The Healing Touch, The Reiki Touch Kit, Reiki for a New Millennium, The Spirit of Reiki and over 100 articles on the history, philosophy and practice of Reiki. William has done extensive research on the origin and nature of Reiki and produced a pioneering work titled An Evidence Based History of Reiki.

William is the originator of the Usui/Tibetan system of Reiki which he developed in 1989. In 1995, with the help of some of his students, he developed the Karuna Reiki® system of healing. In January, 2014 he introduced the Holy Fire® system of Reiki which was upgraded to Holy Fire® II in November 2015 and then upgraded to Holy Fire® III in September, 2018.

Between 1997 and 2004, he placed World Peace Crystal Grids at the North and South Pole and in Jerusalem. This system allows Reiki students all over the world to join together each month in sending Reiki to the peace grids to promote world peace. Over 428,000 sets of the World Peace Grid cards have been downloaded for use in this mediation.

William received Reiki I in 1981, Reiki II in 1982, and became a Reiki Master in 1989. He has received the Reiki Master level of training from six Reiki Masters including three from Japan. He also received Reiki I&II training from Bethel Phaigh Sensei, one of Takata Sensei’s Masters and from Chiyoko Yamaguchi Sensei who is a Reiki Master or Shinpi-den who took classes from Hayashi Sensei.

In addition, William also has a strong background in metaphysics and has previously been a professional astrologer, hypnotherapist, past life regression therapist, rebirther, and is certified in Neuro Linguistic Programing.

William has dedicated his life to Reiki and has practiced and taught full time in classes around the world since 1989. He encourages all Reiki practitioners to work together in harmony to bring peace to the earth.

She teaches in several locations, including the Oregon Coast, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the Seattle area, and is a regular contributor to Reiki News Magazine.

April Walker is a Licensed Reiki Center Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) and the owner of Natural Energy Healing in Northern California. With experience in mentoring and teaching Child Development instructors at the college level, she brings a wealth of knowledge in both education and healing. April is passionate about the power of Reiki, believing that now, more than ever, it is essential for stress reduction and personal healing—especially to support and hold space for the children of the world. She has published many scientific papers and book chapters on postmaterialist science, psychedelics, and the therapeutic effects of integrative medicine practices, including Reiki, yoga, acupuncture, and mindfulness, and is co-editor of the book Expanding Science: Visions of a Postmaterialist Paradigm and the forthcoming book Infinite Perception: The Power of Psychedelics for Global Transformation.

Natalie has also been a Reiki Master since 2016 and a dedicated yogi for the past 16 years. Her passion is understanding and addressing mental and physical health from a psychospiritual perspective. Guest Amanda McCordic | Lawyer, Entrepreneur, Terminal Cancer Survivor and a Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki Master

Amanda McCordic is a mother, wife, lawyer, entrepreneur, terminal cancer survivor and a Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki Master. In December 2019, Amanda was diagnosed with aggressive Breast Cancer, and by April of 2020, the cancer was deemed terminal. A classic type “A” personality, Amanda made the conscious decision to live with hope and to focus on healing, rather than dying. Through divine intervention Amanda had her very first Reiki session 12 hours after finding her first cancer tumour. Amanda’s cancer journey kicked started her spiritual journey, and she leaned heavily into Reiki to help her heal all parts of her body, mind and soul. Defying her oncologist expectations or understandings, Amanda was able to totally heal her cancer metastases, and her scans have remained clean since November 2020. While pushing through her own healing, Amanda witnesses her husband, Matt, losing his battle with his mental health. In March of 2020, Matt committed suicide in their home, leading to some of the most emotional and spiritually challenging days of her life. Amanda again leaned into Reiki, making peace with his choice and the difficult path they had walked together. Amanda openly chronicled the ups and downs of her cancer journey and her loss of Matt on her Facebook page, “Amanda’s Tango with Terminal Cancer.” Offering candid insight into her path and the lessons she had learnt. Amanda credits Reiki with guiding and healing her. Amand has such gratitude for all that Reiki is and does for her, she felt called to help spread the light, hope and love of Reiki to all those who seek it, while also assisting Reiki Master’s with sharing their light through entrepreneurship. It was as a result of this calling that Dragonfly Marketplace was created. Amanda resides just outside of Fredericton, New Brunswick, with her second husband Brad, children Ethan and Amelia, dogs Larsen and Zoe, and cats Jake Puralota and CleoCatra. She remains healthy, strong, vibrant and incredibly thankful for her second chance.

Julia Caroline Youngblood grew up surrounded by cotton fields on Breston Plantation, a historic ancestral home located in Riverton, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting with a minor in French language, graduating Magna cum Laude. Youngblood pursued graduate work at Syracuse University, New York, and received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Louisiana Tech University with a concentration in Drawing and Painting. She also completed her 200-hour RYT training at Shrimath Yoga (Bihar School) near Bangalore, India in 2015. She received Reiki in January 2017 when she met her first Reiki teacher, Linda Drake, in Austin and received attunements to traditional Usui Reiki. I, I, & III. Soon after that, they traveled together to Michigan to the ICRT, to study Usui / Holy Fire iii Reiki Master, Advanced Reiki, and Karuna Reiki Master Training with William Rand.

In 2019, she began studying with Reiki Lifestyle Next Step Reiki and retook all levels of ICRT training with Colleen Bennelli in 2020. That year she also became a Professional Member of the International Center for Reiki Training. During 2019-2020, she completed ICRT Animal Reiki I, II, and Master training as well. In 2022 she completed Next Step Reiki and is now taking a second year of Explore the Twelve Heavens classes with Reiki Lifestyle. In 2023, She was fortunate to retake her Master Class at Mount Kurama, Japan for the 101st anniversary of Reiki and also retake her Karuna class at the ICRT Center in Hana, Hawaii, both with Colleen and William. Youngblood has teaching experience as instructor of record for beginning watercolor and teaching assistant in numerous courses at the college level. She has also taught Usui / Holy Fire iii Reiki I and II and Master Level. She has received two Artist’s Career Advancement Grants (2011, 2015) awarded by Louisiana Division of the Arts.

Caroline served as Louisiana Public Broadcasting's Louisiana Legends Portrait Artist 2019-2022. She has shown her work extensively in museums, galleries, and competitions across the American south. An artist and entrepreneur, Caroline is the sole proprietor of J.Caroline Youngblood Fine Art, LLC and Youngblood Reiki. She has been working as a professional artist since 1998, while attending art school. Upon completion of her Master of Fine Arts, she has been devoted full time to creating a business through her gifts and talents with a studio in Monroe, Louisiana. Her work is available for purchase at her home gallery or virtual gallery online. Caroline’s printed art hangs in Oschner’s Hospitals and Clinics, doctor’s offices, waiting rooms, hotels, banks, and restaurants. Her latest venture is her Printed Shop (online and boutique) which sells art, pillows, apparel, kitchenware, notecards, all printed with her images.
