Project Runway Season 22 Episode 8 | Ballroom Disasters, Double Axings, and The Siriano Save Cliffhanger

It’s Season 22, Episode 8 of Project Runway, "Designing with the Stars," and the snark squad is stepping right into an epic crossover as the designers take on the high-glitz world of Dancing with the Stars! After kicking off the night celebrating House of 22 taking the win against the Season 21 veterans, the pressure reaches maximum velocity as the remaining contestants must design movement-ready, high-fashion runway looks tailored for pro ballroom partners with Julianne Hough stepping in as guest mentor. We celebrate Jude Mikulencak securing the coveted individual challenge win for a stunning, technically flawless menswear quickstep look that completely blew the judges away.

On the flip side, the runway turns into a total fashion minefield as the judges tear apart uninspired, costume-heavy looks. The episode pulls no punches with an unprecedented double elimination that sends both Bryan Barrientos and Jeffrey Kelly Abess packing after failing to push their aesthetic. Just as the door is about to close, Christian Siriano drops a massive bombshell by stepping in to use his legendary one-time save—leaving the entire runway hanging on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger! We break down every construction fail, the judges' harshest critiques, and which eliminated designer actually deserves the lifeline. Grab your iced coffee and tune in, because the ballroom drama is serving cutthroat couture!
