Interview with Professor Sudhir Venkatesh

In this episode, Matthew talks to Professor of Sociology and African-American studies at Columbia University - Sudhir Venkatesh. Sudhir explains his famous book 'Gang leader for a day' in terms of how he came to study the Black Kings gang on the Robert Taylor homes estates, his ethnographic methodology and his overall conclusions and findings from the ground-breaking research.
