Cuties / Mignonnes is the new French film by director Maïmouna Doucouré recently released on Netflix. It spotlights the outrageous sexualisation of young girls both in traditional Islam and on secular, social media platforms. Unfortunately it makes the point by outrageously sexualising young girls.
