Douglas H. Wise retired from CIA as a member of CIA’s Senior Intelligence Service (SIS-6) in August 2016 completing nearly three decades of service. He finished his career with CIA in a Joint Duty Assignment as the Deputy Director of the Defense intelligence Agency. As the Deputy Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Doug was the Chief Operating Officer for a 20,000 employee, global defense enterprise supporting senior Defense and National policymakers and the war fighting commands. He currently serves on multiple national and international corporate boards and provides management/leadership coaching/mentoring to the leadership teams of large corporations. He also engages on risk, security and cyber threats for senior corporate executives. He is a technical and leadership advisor to Los Alamos National Laboratory and is a partner in an international risk advisory company and is a senior risk advisor to the world’s largest law firm. Doug is the recipient of two prestigious CIA awards, the Donovan Award and the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal.
