Emma is a highly experienced Eating Disorders Specialist who has spent over 11 years working in private practice in Dublin and Cork. She has a great deal of experience working with both individuals and groups dealing with various forms of disordered eating. Additionally, Emma has expertise in brain injury rehabilitation and brings her knowledge of neuroscience to her work and training programs.
Emma is an internationally recognized expert in disordered eating, and she has spoken at numerous conferences and summits on this topic. She is a specialist trainer recognized by the Irish Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists and was recently accredited as a Global Thought Leader in Trauma Informed Healthcare by the All Ireland Business Foundation. One of the key areas Emma focuses on is Binge Eating Disorder (BED), one of the most prevalent but least well-recognized eating disorders. Emma's mission is to raise awareness of the spectrum of emotional eating and BED among professionals and the public to help people access the specialist support they need to overcome this challenging issue.
