Om avsnittet
Allen Toussaint undeniably shaped the sound of New Orleans... and the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s at large. A Toussaint song may even be one of your favorites and you didn't even know it. Think "Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley", "Brickyard Blues", "Fortune Teller", and the classic "Lady Marmalade". Toussaint disciples include The Band, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Palmer, Elvis Costello, and so many more. Lex and Dave take their best crack at covering the career of the legendary pianist-performer-producer, but without a doubt, they left something out. Let 'em have it through all the links below!
