Happy Monday besties! This week we read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. 2023 was the year of the Hunger Games renaissance and we just had to throw ourselves into the mix. The Hunger Games was one of our most favorite books growing and we are so excited to explore this world once more. Maybe we will explore more Dystopian Science Fiction Fantasy in the future. Katniss Everdeen, a girl from District 12, volunteers to take her sisters place in the Hunger Games, a battle royale style game where one male and one female tribute from each district fight to the death. Katniss is paired up with the male tribute from her district, Peeta Mellark where the two pretend to have a star crossed romance.
