312: The Murder of Eric Richins (Kouri Richins)

In the early morning of March 4th, 2022, 33-year-old Kouri Richins called 911 from her home in Kamas, Utah. She said that she'd come back into the bedroom she shared with her 39-year-old husband Eric to find him cold and unresponsive. First responders arrived, but were unable to revive Eric. The father of three was pronounced dead. His autopsy later revealed that he'd ingested about 5 times the lethal amount of Fentanyl. Nobody could believe that Eric had died from a drug overdose. It didn't take long for investigators to zero in on Eric's wife, Kouri.
