Ep. 238: FATA Booking w/ Eva Alexiou-Reo
Om avsnittet
Fata Booking is a North America-based, boutique booking agency and management firm. Founded in 1996 by Eva Alexiou-Reo, FATA has worked with and exponentially grown the careers of credible artists such as Jimmy Eat World, Hot Water Music, Flogging Molly, Elliott, Mae, Rusted Root, MC Lars, The Blood Brothers, Pretty Girls Make Graves and many more.
Eva's name always came up back in the day and I wanted to get her perspective of what it was like to grow a booking agency. With the help of Kim Heiner, I got Eva on the skype and this is what we chat about:
- The Wilkes-Barre scene
- Starting Fata Booking
- Advice from Kevin Lyman
- Should she write a book
- How are bands making money?
- how has she gotten bands
- Pretty girls make graves
- Venues taking a cut of merch
- And a ton more
Lastly I started doing whiteboard animations so if your marketing department has said recently "Hey, we need a whiteboard animation" then email me at [email protected]
