Genesis 4-5 - The Unbelief of Cain and Descendants of Seth

Why did God accept Abel’s offering but reject Cain’s? In Genesis 4, Pastor Paul shows how Cain’s unbelief led to jealousy, rebellion, and even murder, while Abel’s faith made his sacrifice acceptable to God. We see how sin quickly spreads, corrupting hearts and entire generations, as seen in Cain’s descendants. Yet through Seth’s line, people began to call on the name of the Lord, showing hope and faith were not lost. Genesis 5 then traces this godly line to Noah, reminding us that God preserves a faithful remnant.
