Matthew 27 - The Crucifixion

“It is finished.” With these words, Jesus declared victory from the cross. In Matthew 27, we witness His betrayal before Pilate, the crowd choosing Barabbas, the soldiers’ cruel mockery, and the agony of crucifixion. Yet even in His suffering, Scripture is fulfilled, the temple veil is torn, and access to God is opened.
