Romans 15 (Part 1): 1-16 - Jesus Our Hope and Example

When is laying down your rights an act of love? Romans 15:1–16 shows how Jesus is our model for humility, patience, and unity in the church. Paul calls believers who are strong in faith to bear with those who are still growing, choosing to build up rather than insist on personal freedoms. He points us to Christ, who did not please Himself but served us for our salvation. This passage reminds us that Scripture gives endurance and encouragement so we can live with hope, love one another well, and glorify God together.
