Dance Classics: Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025 Vol. 1

This Dance Classics mix, Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025 Volume 1, is a 2½-hour throwback set built for backyard BBQs, pool parties, and solo kitchen shuffles. The collection pulls Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and Dance hits from the ’60s through the 2000s and reimagines them for today’s dance floor with modern remixes, mashups, and nu-disco/’90s house energy. Highlights include a nod to Bob Sinclar alongside a heavy serving of new retro edits from Block & Crown, GhostMasters, Disco Gurls, FlashDancers, and Steve Tosi. Expect mashups that splice two familiar hits, faithful updates given a club boost, and plenty of extended mixes that keep the groove steady. The post notes many producers appear under multiple aliases, so some tracks may feel familiar in new skins. Volume 1 is the first of three planned drops this week; Volume 2 lands Friday and Volume 3 follows next week. Mix this release with previous sets for hours of nonstop throwback party energy and generational crowd-pleasers.
