[Comment: Hidden Treasure]

Friends of the Rosary:

We mostly spend our busy lives worrying and making plans. Our modern society offers us many incentives intended to try new things, keeping us occupied in activities that go nowhere.

Our greatest treasure in life is Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. The Son of God Himself told us (Matt 13:44-46): “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field, which a person finds and hides again, and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

The living God, the bread of life — as we read today, Jn 6:24-35 — Jesus Christ, who dwells with us, helping us to carry our crosses, is our greatest treasure.
