[Comment: Lack of Faith]

Friends of the Rosary,

We define ourselves as faithful. Fine. Let’s wait until being rejected by our own relatives and friends. How we will react then? Will we instantly forgive them or confront them with arguments? This happened to Jesus Christ in Galilee.

As we read today, He was amazed at their lack of faith. (Mk 6:1-6) He didn’t confront them by performing miracles. On the contrary, He humbled himself, forgave them, and went into prayer.

Like Jesus, we need to be ready for this harsh reality. Let’s remember what He said: “A prophet is not without honor except in his native place and among his own kin and in his own house.”
