Friends of the Rosary,

The baptism brings us into the inner of God. It draws us into the relationship between the Father and the Son based on the love of the Holy Spirit.

The sacrament of the Baptism — whose solemnity day we celebrated yesterday — is about our incorporation into the dynamics of God’s life.

Christ Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches through which true life flows.

As Bishop Barron wrote, “To grasp the full meaning of this is to understand something decisive about Christianity. For Christianity is not primarily about “becoming a good person” or “doing the right thing.” Let’s face it, anyone—pagan, Muslim, Jew, non-believer—can be any of those things.”
