Friends of the Rosary,

We turn to Our Lady for our needs. As a good mother, she understands our joys and sorrows and responds to the needs of her children.

Yesterday, we heard about the wedding feast at Cana, as Jesus’ mother said to the servants: “Do whatever He tells you.”

The perfect disciple of Our Lord — and our discipleship model represented the suffering humanity when she asked for divine intervention.

Christ Jesus called her as “woman”, not in a sign of disrespect but addressing her with the title of Eve, the mother of all the living. Mary is the truthful intercessor who indicates that the attendants are out of wine, meaning that the joy of life has run out.

Then, Our Lord performed his public miracle, converting water into wine to show His lordship.
