Friends of the Rosary:

We live in a society dominated by self-centeredness. It’s the generation of selfies. It’s all about me. Is this a problem?

Well, it’s slavery — the slavery of self-centeredness. And slavery is contrary to the freedom that we achieve by living for Christ and serving our neighbors.

Friends, we are wired this way. We are wired to seek the eternal truth, resting in God after our journey on earth. By accepting the Cross and believing in the Resurrection, we are set free.

It seems a paradox but it’s not: being slaves of Christ we are free. Everyone who has tried this across history knows that this is true.
