July 5, 2021, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries)

Friends of the Rosary:

In today’s (Mt 9:18-26) and yesterday’s (Mk 6:1-6) readings, we see that Jesus was mocked and ridiculed by people. “They took offense at him,” wrote Mark the Evangelist. “Jesus was amazed at their lack of faith.”

Our modern society is not much different. Currently, people offend and mock Jesus Christ with unrighteous practices and ideas. Ideologies are designed to deprive souls of divine plenitude. Ideologies damage all collectively but most importantly offend Jesus and Mary.

How can be the children of God so wicked and ungrateful? It’s clearly our lack of faith and our lack of wisdom that poisons our soul.

Let’s ask during the Rosary of Mary the humility and grace to become servants of the Lord, as we learn in the first Joyful mystery.
