[Comment: Stop Judging]
Friends of the Rosary:
In our pride, we judge others. Also, since we consider ourselves more pious, we tend to evaluate others’ conduct. That’s the very dangerous “spiritual pride”. All of this is contrary to the foundational virtue of humility that we praise today in the first Joyful mystery.
The Blessed Virgin Mary, all perfection, was all humility. Her Divine Son humbled Himself into human form and only used His supernatural power in the service of others.
As we read today (Mt 7:1-5), Jesus said to his disciples: “Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.”
