October 29, 2021, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | In Memoriam of Maria Blanca

Friends of the Rosary:

Life is eternal. Maria Blanca “Blanki”, my dear wife, the mother of three spectacular children (Miguel, Blanca, and Jaione), is hopefully in Heaven with Jesus and Mary.

I believe that her sins were purged after a sorrowful disease that was discovered almost a year ago. The last month was particularly painful at the ICU in La Paz hospital. Doctors, nurses, and frankly everyone were impressed with her resistance and lack of complaint. She was telling me: "This is almost nothing compared to what Jesus suffered."

This Rosary of Mary and as many daily Rosaries as the Virgin Mary wants from me are dedicated to the memory of Maria Blanca. We conform to God’s will as we learn in the first mystery of the Agony in the Garden, regardless of the deep pain we feel. I fight — we all fight — for being one day reunited in Heaven, in the presence of Jesus, Mary, and all the Saints.

In the meantime, we try to listen and follow the signals we receive from Maria Blanca, her father Julian, my father Alberto, and all the faithful who dedicate their lives to building the Kingdom.
