Friends of the Rosary,

Today we celebrate the Exaltation, the Triumph of the Holy Cross — the instrument of our redemption.

With this feast day, we commemorate the recovery of the True Cross, which was placed on Mt. Calvary by St. Helena, in the fourth century.

When we make the Sign of the Cross, we give our entire self to Jesus Christ — mind, soul, heart, body, will, thoughts. Jesus Christ is our life, our salvation, and our resurrection.

Through Him, we are saved and made free.
