Friends of the Rosary:

Reading a scroll of the prophet Isaiah in a synagogue on the sabbath day in Nazareth, where he had grown up, Christ Jesus proclaimed (Lk 4:16-30):

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord."

"Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing."

The anointed one came to heal and free us from slavery us sin.

The infinite, unconditional love of our Trinitarian God toward His children is what fully defines us as humans. Our response as individuals cannot be other than to spread love everywhere tirelessly, the love we have inherited. Rejecting this mission results in death and everlasting darkness.
