There comes a point when we have to stop explaining why we can’t change and start allowing God to change us. This is a season to take the axe to the root. No more blaming the past. No more justifying unhealthy patterns. No more making excuses for the very areas God has been putting His finger on.

Jesus said, “Every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (Matthew 3:10)

God loves us too much to leave us where we are. Sometimes the breakthrough we’ve been praying for requires us to confront what we’ve been tolerating. It’s time to get serious about growth, discipline, healing, obedience, and becoming who God has called us to be.
