Over the Top (1987): Is This Stallone’s Ultimate 80s Guilty Pleasure?
There were many epic types of movies in the 80s from action to adventure, thrillers to teen comedies, there was something for everyone in the decade. However, one topic that hadn’t been touched, and was ultimately needed in 1987 was a movie about truck drivers and arm wrestling. Team 80’s and 90s will tackle their first Sylvester Stallone movie with a special guest, hoping to tackle all of the big questions like, Did Stallone kidnap that kid? Can you drink an entire can of oil? And is the arm wrestling tournament double elimination? These are just a few of the hard hitting topics, along with probably endless Stallone impressions that will come out on this episode.
