Jordan Thierry is the author of A Kids Book About Systemic Racism and Ben Sand is the author of A Kids Book About White Privilege—both part of a fantastic, educational, and inspiring new series of kids' books. They talked to Zibby about the challenges of writing about deep topics for a young set of readers, creating digestible conversations about race in the home and on the page, and how we can all take part in disseminating a positive message about "love and hope and resistance and change and acceptance."
