Cindy Wanner

In November 1991, 35-year-old mother of two Cindy Wanner disappeared while cleaning her sister’s home in Granite Bay, California, leaving behind her infant daughter, shoes, and coat. Weeks later, Cindy’s body was discovered in a remote mountainous area, and investigators determined she had been strangled.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Cindy Wanner. Despite extensive searches and the mysterious use of Cindy’s bank card shortly after her disappearance, the case went cold for decades. Nearly 35 years later, advances in DNA testing and facial recognition technology finally gave investigators the breakthrough they had been waiting for, bringing answers in a case that had haunted Cindy’s family and law enforcement for generations.
